There will now undoubtedly be new calls for Sen. Collins to return the $10,000 given to her this cycle by indicted Sen. Ted Stevens' (R-AK) Northern Lights PAC.
But I'm more interested in the $5,000 Sen. Collins's Dirigo PAC has given Stevens this cycle.
Anyone care to explain how that contribution has advanced the cause of good government? Or fiscal discipline? Or moderate bipartisan centrism?
